Registration SE-DFK, MSN 094, was delivered to SAS Scandinavian Airlines on 10 March 1980, carrying the name "Sven Viking." The A300B4-120 transferred to Scanair — SAS's charter subsidiary — on 30 March 1983, operating inclusive-tour flights from Scandinavia to Mediterranean and leisure destinations. SE-DFK served Scanair until 20 November 1987, when it moved to Conair of Scandinavia as OY-CNK. The aircraft later passed through further operators before ending its days with Bosphorus European Airways as TC-OIM. SE-DFK thus represents a three-airline life that spans Nordic scheduled service into leisure charter, all under the broad SAS-consortium umbrella.

Livery & Visual Details

The model wears Scanair's distinctive scheme: white upper fuselage with a royal blue cheatline incorporating the passenger windows, and a white lower fuselage. "SCANDINAVIAN" appears in large blue capitals below the cheatline. Three small Scandinavian national flags — Denmark, Norway, Sweden — are visible on the rear fuselage, reflecting Scanair's consortium heritage. The vertical stabilizer is white with a bold orange circle logo and "SCANAIR" in blue italic lettering. "SCANAIR" also appears on the engine nacelles in blue. Classic straight wingtips with no winglets, consistent with the original A300B4 configuration. Two turbofan engine nacelles are metallic silver.
