1:200 Diecast: Lloyd Aéreo Boliviano Fokker F-27-600 CP-2165 "1990s Colors" (AeroClassics WM211240)

Registration CP-2165, MSN 10592. The same Fokker F-27-600 Friendship documented in the 1980s release — now captured in the final LAB scheme of the 1990s, years after its delivery as PH-EXG and N421SA. On 22 December 1994, during this very livery era, CP-2165 overran the runway at Guayaramerín Airport following a rejected takeoff; all 40 occupants survived, making it one of the most survivable events in LAB's history. This is the WM211240 release — the companion piece to WM211239 (1980s colors), both issued by AeroClassics simultaneously in April 2025.

Livery & Visual Details

The 1990s LAB scheme updates the livery: white upper fuselage and grey belly separated by a light blue stripe that curves upward at the nose. "LLOYD AEREO BOLIVIANO" in dark blue capital letters across the forward white fuselage. Registration CP-2165 on the rear section. The white tail carries a blue stylized wave or L-form design, with the Bolivian tricolor flag at the top. Four turboprop engines with grey nacelles and silver/grey propellers with yellow tips — four-engine configuration confirmed from the model image.

Model Craft & Collectibility

Released April 2025 by AeroClassics. This 1990s version differs visually from the WM211239 1980s release primarily in the belly treatment and stripe color. Diecast metal construction. Collecting both versions offers a direct visual comparison of LAB's livery evolution across one decade on a single airframe — an unusual storytelling opportunity at 1:200 scale.
