1:400 Diecast: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Airbus A321neo PH-AXA (AeroClassics AC411206)
Registered PH-AXA, MSN 11895. First flown 31 July 2024 under test registration D-AXXQ, this Airbus A321-252NX is one of KLM's inaugural A321neo deliveries — the type replacing aging 737-800s and A320s on European and select medium-range routes. Its arrival signals KLM's adoption of the CFM LEAP-1A powered narrowbody NEO family after decades of Boeing narrowbody dominance in the short-haul fleet.
Livery & Visual Details
KLM's current house scheme: medium blue fuselage above a grey belly, separated by a thin white stripe. "KLM" in large white lettering with "Royal Dutch Airlines" below, forward fuselage. The blue nose cone continues the fuselage color. Registration PH-AXA in small black text aft. The white tail carries the blue KLM crown logo. Sharklets at both wingtips — confirming NEO series. Two CFM LEAP-1A engines with white nacelles.
Model Craft & Collectibility
AeroClassics AC411206 released November 2024 — capturing PH-AXA in its first operational months. Diecast metal construction. At 1:400 scale, dimensions are 12.1 cm length and 8.6 cm wingspan, making this one of the longer narrowbodies in the AeroClassics 1:400 range due to the A321's stretched fuselage.
