1:400 Diecast: Iberia Airbus A320-214 EC-MCS "75 Años Volando a Puerto Rico" (AeroClassics AC411364)

Registered EC-MCS, this Airbus A320-214 carries MSN 6244. First flown in August 2014 under test registration D-AVVP, the airframe entered Iberia service and carries the name "Playa De Los Lances." In April 2024, it received a special sticker commemorating 75 years of Iberia service to Puerto Rico — one of the carrier's longest-running transatlantic routes — making this airframe the rolling ambassador of that milestone.

Livery & Visual Details

The base scheme is Iberia's current livery: white fuselage, bold red "IBERIA" lettering forward, and the red-and-orange brushstroke logo on the white tail. The special sticker applied to the aft fuselage depicts a tropical beach scene with palm trees, ocean waves, and "Costa Rica" rendered in blue cursive — surmounted by "75 AÑOS" in yellow and "IBERIA DESDE 1946" in black. Sharklets are confirmed at both wingtips. Two CFM56 engines with white nacelles, no chevron nozzles.

AeroClassics produced this release as a Limited Edition of 100 pieces worldwide — confirmed on retailer listings. Issued November 2024, it captures a specific sticker campaign visible on the real aircraft from April 2024 onward. Diecast metal construction throughout.
