Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner registered HL8081 carries MSN 34810 (line number 525). Its first flight departed on 25 January 2017, with delivery to Korean Air following in February 2017 — making HL8081 the first 787-9 Dreamliner to enter the Korean Air fleet. Phoenix captured this milestone airframe in their 2017 release PH04126, now discontinued.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model wears the classic Korean Air livery: sky blue upper fuselage and vertical stabilizer transitioning to a white underside. "KOREAN AIR" is printed in dark blue capitals on the forward fuselage above the window line. Registration "HL8081" appears in dark blue on the rear fuselage above the horizontal stabilizer. The tail displays the iconic Taegeuk emblem — a red and blue swirl on white. Engine nacelles are white with a small Korean Air Taegeuk badge on each fan cowling.
