Boeing 787-10 Dreamliner HL8515, MSN 66878 (Line Number 1152), was delivered to Korean Air on 20 July 2024 — the airline's 25th 787 Dreamliner and simultaneously the 1,200th Boeing 787 to roll off the Everett production line, a dual milestone confirmed by Boeing at delivery. The 787-10 is the longest variant of the Dreamliner family, stretching 68 metres and seating approximately 330 passengers in Korean Air's two-class configuration. HL8515 operates long-haul routes from Incheon, and in March 2025 became the first Korean Air aircraft to be repainted in the carrier's updated livery — making this Phoenix PH04606 a snapshot of the pre-update scheme as delivered in 2024.

Livery & Visual Details

The model depicts Korean Air's classic scheme: medium sky-blue upper fuselage separated from a white belly by a thin dark grey cheatline. The vertical stabiliser carries the Taegeuk logo — the red-and-blue circular emblem — centrally on the blue fin, and the same logo appears on each engine nacelle. "KOREAN AIR" runs along the forward fuselage in white capital letters, with the letter O replaced by the Taegeuk symbol. A small "SKYTEAM" alliance logo in blue is visible on the lower mid-fuselage.
