COMAC ferried it from Shanghai Pudong to Guangzhou on August 29, 2024, completing delivery to the airline. China Southern placed its C919 order for aircraft priced at approximately $99 million each, covering deliveries from 2024 through 2031 — making B-919J the opening unit of that contract.
