1:400 Diecast: China Southern Airlines Comac C919STD B-657X GAC Trumpchi Livery (Phoenix PH12015)

B-657X is COMAC C919STD production number 22, delivered to China Southern Airlines on December 19, 2024—among the final C919 deliveries in that calendar year. Leased with branding support from GAC Trumpchi (Guangzhou Automobile Corporation), the aircraft carries a co-branded promotional livery that ties China's domestic narrowbody program to the Trumpchi passenger-vehicle line. The C919 is powered by CFM International LEAP-1C engines, the only engine option for the type.

Livery & Visual Details

The forward fuselage is white. Aft of the wing the upper surfaces carry a vivid gradient from deep turquoise-blue through lime green to emerald green toward the tail cone. The belly remains white. "中国南方航空" in black Chinese characters appears port-side forward, with "CHINA SOUTHERN" below. "C919" in red is printed near the nose. The GAC Trumpchi "广汽传祺" logo in bright green occupies the lime section of the fuselage. A white Chinese slogan on the green band incorporates the registration B-657X within its text. China Southern's red kapok flower logo sits on the white vertical stabilizer; the registration B-657X runs vertically on the tail's leading edge. Blended winglets in blue. White LEAP-1C nacelles with gray inlets. Landing gear extended.

Phoenix released PH12015 in August 2025, making it one of the earliest 1:400 scale models of the production C919STD in China Southern colors. The GAC Trumpchi co-branded livery is unique to this individual aircraft, distinguishing B-657X from China Southern's other C919 fleet. The C919 program's significance to Chinese commercial aviation makes this release notable beyond standard fleet completism.
