Boeing 767-424ER N77066, MSN 29461 (Line Number 878), first flew on 24 May 2002 and was delivered to Continental Airlines on 31 May 2002. Following the Continental–United merger finalised in October 2010, N77066 passed into United's mainline fleet wearing the blended "Continental Globe" scheme — the livery seen on this model. The 767-400ER is the longest variant of the 767 family, stretching to 61.4 metres, and N77066 carries Continental's original configuration of C34/W24/Y173. It operates transatlantic routes under United's Newark hub, including Edinburgh and Munich services documented in aviation photography records.

Livery & Visual Details

The model depicts the "Blue Evolution" scheme: white upper fuselage with a thin dark blue cheatline running below the window line. The vertical stabiliser features the Continental Globe — an interlocking curved-line globe pattern in blue on a dark blue upper fin. "UNITED" is displayed in large dark blue capital letters on the forward fuselage. The registration "N77066" with a small American flag depiction appears aft of the wing. A Star Alliance logo is printed on the nose below the cockpit. Engine nacelles are white with a distinctive dark blue inlet cowl band — a hallmark of this post-merger hybrid livery. NG Models NG18001 represents the first launch of NG's new 767-400ER mould — a ground-up tooling designed to capture the type's distinctive elongated fuselage and raked winglets. CF6-80C2 engine nacelles are rendered with the correct inlet-cowl proportions. Diecast alloy construction, 15.35 cm length, 12.98 cm wingspan at 1:400.
