1:400 Diecast: TUI Airways Boeing 737 MAX 8 D-AMAH "Fuerteventura" TUI 50 Years Livery (NG Models NG88043)

D-AMAH is a Boeing 737-8 MAX with MSN 44629, first flown on July 19, 2023, and delivered to TUIfly on November 24, 2023. The aircraft carries the name "Fuerteventura" — the Canary Islands resort island — and wears the TUI 50 Years anniversary livery commemorating five decades of TUI leisure travel operations. TUI's Boeing 737 MAX fleet serves European charter routes from Hamburg, Hanover, and UK airports to Mediterranean, Canary Islands, and North African leisure destinations. Engines are CFM LEAP-1B27 turbofans.

Livery & Visual Detail

Light blue nose section leading into a yellow upper band that transitions to orange toward the tail. A black-and-white checkered stripe runs along the fuselage directly below the passenger windows, an identifiable signature element of the TUI leisure livery. The vertical stabilizer is bright orange with a large blue TUI "smile" logo (stylized K mark). "TUI" is lettered in bold blue on the light blue nose, and "TUI.COM" appears on the lower fuselage. Registration D-AMAH printed near the aft fuselage. Blue blended winglets — the 737 MAX's standard Split Scimitar-style winglet design. Two CFM LEAP-1B27 turbofans with white nacelles. Static landing gear deployed.

Model Craft & Collectability

NG Models NG88043 is a discontinued release cast in diecast metal at 1:400 scale. NG's 737 MAX 8 mould correctly renders the re-engined narrowbody's LEAP-1B nacelle profile, which is visually distinct from the CFM56-equipped NG series. The 50 Years livery with "Fuerteventura" name plate is a single-aircraft campaign scheme, now out of production from NG Models.
