1:400 Diecast: Sichuan Airlines Airbus A350-900 B-301D "Panda Route" (NG Models NG39056)

B-301D, MSN 60, became the first Airbus A350-900 delivered to a mainland Chinese carrier via leasing when it arrived in Chengdu on 8 August 2018, leased from AerCap. Originally slated to join SriLankan Airlines as 4R-XWC, the airframe was redirected and made Sichuan Airlines the first Chinese lessor-based operator of the type. The aircraft entered revenue service on the Chengdu–Beijing corridor within days of arrival.

Livery & Visual Details

The "Panda Route" special livery covers nearly the entire rear fuselage in a full-wrap mural. A large black-and-white giant panda clutching green bamboo anchors the forward-mid section, surrounded by abstract wave patterns in greens, blues, purples, oranges, and yellows, with smaller pandas in playful poses scattered across the design. Forward fuselage carries Chinese characters reading "四川航空" and "SICHUAN AIRLINES" in blue below the cockpit. Registration B-301D is marked on the aft fuselage. The tail is solid red with the Sichuan Airlines white-bird logo in a blue oval. Wing tips show A350's integrated raked-tip curve. Engine fan blades are dark grey; no chevron nozzles visible. Landing gear is deployed.
