1:200 Diecast: Shenzhen Airlines Boeing 737-700 B-2669 "Xishuangbanna" (NG Models NG05036)

B-2669 carries MSN 32722 and was delivered to Shenzhen Airlines on 13 December 2001. The aircraft wore the airline's "Xishuangbanna" (西双版纳号) named special livery — a city-themed livery honouring the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture in Yunnan province. B-2669 was placed into storage in late 2017 and subsequently scrapped, making this release a permanent record of a retired aircraft in a livery that will not return.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage features Shenzhen Airlines' distinctive multi-band cheatline along the lower window zone: a thin gold pinstripe, a wide red band, then a second thin gold stripe, followed by a dark green lower band. The green band carries silhouette artwork of Xishuangbanna landmarks — pagodas, tropical palms and urban skyline elements — in a panoramic city illustration that runs the fuselage length. The vertical stabiliser is red, carrying Shenzhen Airlines' gold stylised phoenix logo. "Shenzhen Airlines" in black Roman lettering appears on the forward upper fuselage, alongside Chinese characters reading "Shenzhen Airlines" (深圳航空). The registration B-2669 is printed aft. Blended winglets are fitted. A nose art character appears below the cockpit windows as part of the city-themed decoration.

NG Models NG05036 uses the 737-700 tooling at 1:200 scale to preserve a livery that existed on a single airframe. City-named Chinese airline liveries from the 2000s are underrepresented in the diecast market; this release fills a documented gap. Diecast alloy construction with display stand.
