The aircraft was selected to carry the "WorldSkills Shanghai 2022" special livery — 上海世赛号 — to mark China Southern's role as the official airline partner for the 46th WorldSkills Competition held in Shanghai. WorldSkills 2022, originally scheduled for October 2022, was ultimately held as a hybrid special edition competition across multiple dates. B-2007 carried this scheme across China Southern's long-haul network operating out of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport. Powered by two GE90-115B engines, the 777-300ER is Boeing's highest-capacity twin-engine airliner.
