1:400 Diecast: China Eastern Airlines Comac C919 B-919A — World's First C919 (NG Models NG19201)

B-919A, MSN 107, made history on December 9, 2022, when it became the first Comac C919 handed over to a commercial operator — China Eastern Airlines — in Shanghai. Carrying the provisional registration B-001J through flight testing, it entered revenue service in May 2023 on the Shanghai Hongqiao–Chengdu Tianfu route. The C919-100 carries 158 passengers in a standard 8J+150Y configuration and is powered by CFM International LEAP-1C engines, spanning routes up to 5,555 km.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white. The forward section carries the Chinese characters reading "中国东方航空" in red followed by "CHINA EASTERN" in blue block letters. The vertical stabilizer displays China Eastern's red-and-blue stylized swallow logo against a white background. Registration "B-919A" appears on the aft fuselage and the upper surface of the port horizontal stabilizer. "C919" and "COMAC C919" markings are visible near the cockpit and tail respectively. Wingtips carry sharklets. Engine nacelles are white with small red CFM caution markings.

Model Craft & Collectibility

NG Models NG19201 is the 1:400 scale diecast of the world's first C919 delivered to revenue service. The mold captures the type's narrow-body proportions with rolling landing gear and antenna included, no stand. Model length approximately 9.73 cm, wingspan approximately 8.95 cm. Released February 2026.
