B-LQE, MSN 401, first flew on February 7, 2020 (test registration F-WZFO) and was delivered to Cathay Pacific on September 11, 2020. As an A350-941 variant, it is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines and operates at approximately six years of age. Cathay Pacific's A350-900 fleet has become the airline's primary long-haul workhorse, operating routes including London Gatwick, Manchester, New York, and various destinations across Asia — B-LQE was photographed departing Manchester Airport bound for Hong Kong in January 2024.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model replicates Cathay Pacific's current livery: clean white fuselage with "CATHAY PACIFIC" in dark teal/green capitals on the upper forward section. The Cathay brushwing logo in matching teal appears below the cockpit. The vertical stabilizer is dark teal with a large white brushwing motif centered on it. The registration B-LQE is printed on the rear lower fuselage. The A350's blended winglets are white with dark teal tips matching the tail colour — a visually distinctive detail of Cathay's A350 presentation. Rolls-Royce Trent XWB nacelles are rendered in a distinctive light blue-grey tone, different from the fuselage white. A Swire Group logo appears on the lower rear fuselage.
