B-LAN, MSN 1285, test registration F-WWYE, made its first flight on 27 January 2012 and was delivered to Cathay Pacific on 24 February 2012. The A330-343 is the high-gross-weight variant of the A330-300 family, powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent 772-60 engines. B-LAN operates Cathay Pacific's medium and long-haul intra-Asia routes from Hong Kong, including regular services to Tokyo Narita and Beijing Capital.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model is finished in Cathay Pacific's long-serving livery: a white fuselage with "CATHAY PACIFIC" in dark emerald green capital lettering above the windows. The vertical stabilizer carries the iconic brushwing logo—a white abstract bird form—on the upper dark green half, with white below. The Trent 772-60 engine nacelles are painted in a distinctive teal/mint-green, a notable identifying feature of this livery. The wingtips carry a dark green accent stripe and are classic swept tips, consistent with the pre-Sharklet A330-300 configuration. The Swire group logo appears on the aft fuselage.
