HL7421, MSN 25784 (line number 1086), is a Boeing 747-400 originally delivered to Asiana Airlines in August 1996 as a passenger combi configuration. The aircraft later underwent BDSF (Boeing Dreamlifter Special Freighter) conversion, reconfiguring it for full freighter operations with Asiana Cargo. In August 2025, HL7421 transferred to Air Incheon/AirZeta, continuing cargo operations on Korean freight routes. The airframe logged nearly three decades of continuous service across passenger and freighter configurations — an exceptional operational lifespan for a 747-400.

Livery & Visual Detail

The fuselage is clean white with a dark grey leading-edge stripe along the upper wing surface. The bold "ASIANA CARGO" wordmark appears in black below the cockpit, flanked by the red Asiana "A" corporate logo. A small blue UNICEF logo is visible near the nose, indicating a partnership campaign. The vertical stabilizer carries the airline's flowing multi-colour ribbon design in red, gold, dark blue and taupe, with a small South Korean national flag on the fin. Engine nacelles are white with metallic silver intake lips and silver fan blades. Wingtips are conventional pointed — no winglets. Landing gear is static-deployed.
