The Airbus A330-743L BelugaXL is the only civil aircraft purpose-built to carry entire aircraft wings and fuselage sections between Airbus production sites across Europe. Derived from the A330-200F freighter, it carries a cargo volume of 2,209 cubic metres—more than twice the capacity of the original Beluga (A300-600ST). The BelugaXL fleet entered service with Airbus Transport International in January 2020 and now handles the logistics backbone of A350, A330, and A320 family production. NG60017 captures the type in an unregistered, unmarked white finish—a "blank canvas" configuration with no airline titles, no fleet number, and no registration applied.

Visual Detail

The model presents the BelugaXL's extraordinary silhouette in full: the bulbous upper cargo hold that dwarfs the cockpit below, the distinctive triple-surface tail (one central plus two endplate fins), and the recessed flight deck positioned beneath the main cargo deck. The fuselage is overall white with light grey wing undersides. Minimal red safety stencils are visible near the nose and engine nacelles. No fuselage titles, no tail logo, no registration. Winglets curve upward at each wingtip, consistent with the A330 family's aerodynamic configuration. Two turbofan engine nacelles are white with dark grey intake lips.

NG Models produces this release as a dedicated BelugaXL blank-scheme model, built on the same mould used for the wider BelugaXL series (NG60005–NG60012). Diecast metal construction throughout. Rolling landing gear included; no stand. The blank registration makes this a popular base for custom painting projects and a clean display piece for collectors focused on the A330-743L type rather than a specific operator livery.
