Registration B-650W is a COMAC ARJ21-700 (C909), MSN 156, operated by Air China. The first ARJ21-700 for Air China was delivered on 28 June 2020, and B-650W — among the airline's early ARJ21 fleet — ferried from Shanghai Pudong to Beijing Capital on 12 May 2021 and entered service on 20 May 2021. Air China's adoption of the C909 formed part of the Chinese government's indigenous aviation program, deploying the type on domestic short-to-medium routes while COMAC scaled production at its Shanghai facility. The C909 carries up to 90 passengers and is powered by two rear-mounted GE CF34-10A turbofan engines.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model renders the Air China standard livery on a white fuselage. A horizontal blue stripe runs below the window line from nose to tail.
