B-32LD is an Airbus A319-153N, manufacturer serial number 12517. The airframe was ferried from Hamburg Finkenwerder (XFW) via Nursultan (NQZ) to Beijing (PEK) on 31 May–1 June 2025 and entered Air China service on 1 July 2025. It is among the first Airbus A319neo aircraft to enter commercial service with Air China, as the carrier began introducing the neo variant to supplement and eventually replace its earlier A319-100 fleet. The A319neo's extended range and reduced fuel burn compared to the A319ceo make it Air China's preferred choice for thinner domestic and regional international routes, including operations from high-altitude airports in western China.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model carries Air China's standard scheme: white fuselage with a deep blue cheatline running below the cabin windows from nose to tail. "AIR CHINA" appears in blue on the forward fuselage above the cheatline; Chinese characters reading "中国国际航空公司" run along the upper fuselage. A small Chinese national flag is printed near the cockpit. Registration B-32LD appears in blue on the aft fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is white and carries Air China's red phoenix logo. Engine nacelles are light grey. Wingtips are Sharklets, the inner top edges accented with a red detail. Rolling gear fully deployed.
