1:400 Diecast: Hawaiian Airlines Airbus A321neo N215HA "Uhiuhi" (NG Models NG13133)

Airbus A321neo registered N215HA carries MSN 8266 and was delivered to Hawaiian Airlines on 29 June 2018, with the delivery ferry flight BFM–OAK–HNL completed on 3 July 2018. The aircraft carries the fleet name "Uhiuhi," a critically endangered native Hawaiian hardwood tree. It was among Hawaiian's earliest A321neo deliveries and was the type's introduction to the carrier's inter-island and US mainland network. Engines are two Pratt & Whitney PW1133G-JM geared turbofans, the same powerplant shared across all Hawaiian A321neos.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is white with "HAWAIIAN" in dark blue on the forward section. A silver-grey floral vine motif with a subtle metallic sheen runs along the mid-fuselage from the forward door area toward the wing roots. The lower aft fuselage transitions into a gradient of magenta, purple, and deep blue with red and purple floral elements — Hawaiian's lei-of-flowers design. The vertical stabiliser is dark blue with the white Pualani profile facing forward, her hair rendered in red-to-purple tones. Sharklets are present on both wingtips in grey-silver. The registration N215HA appears in dark red-magenta on the aft upper fuselage just forward of the tail.

NG Models produces NG13133 in diecast metal at 1:400 with pad-printed markings. The model shares the same A321neo tooling as the N228HA release (NG13140), differentiated by the registration and any production-batch livery variation. The PW1133G's subtle chevron exhaust is reproduced at this scale. N215HA as an early-delivery airframe documents the beginning of Hawaiian's narrowbody fleet modernisation programme.
