B-17882 carries MSN 39298, line number 757, built at Boeing's North Charleston facility. The aircraft departed Charleston (CHS) on 30 October 2018 and was delivered to EVA Air in Taipei on the same day, leased from Air Lease Corp. It operates the 787-9 variant, powered by two GEnx-1B turbofans.

Livery & Visual Details

The model replicates EVA Air's current livery: a white upper fuselage with a multi-band stripe running the full fuselage length — dark forest-green base transitioning to vivid green with a thin orange-red accent line. The vertical stabilizer is painted in the same vivid green, carrying the airline's globe logo with an orange-red circular outline enclosing a green star. "EVA AIR" appears in large green sans-serif capitals on the mid-fuselage. The registration B-17882 is printed below the cockpit windows. Wingtips are raked, consistent with the 787's composite wing design. Engine nacelles are white with dark fan blades; no chevron nozzles are visible. Landing gear is deployed.
