1:400 Diecast: Airbus Transport International A330-743L Beluga XL F-GXLJ "#4" (NG Models NG60014)

F-GXLJ (MSN 1985) is the fourth Beluga XL in the Airbus Transport International fleet. Its first flight was on 20 July 2021, with delivery on 4 October 2021. As with all Beluga XL aircraft, F-GXLJ operates exclusively within the Airbus production network, carrying wing sets, fuselage barrels, and other major structural assemblies between Airbus facilities in France, Germany, the UK, and Spain. Fleet number "4" is marked on the nose and on the horizontal stabilizer tip. The Beluga XL series supplements and progressively replaces the original A300-600ST Beluga fleet.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model captures the Beluga XL's signature whale-body silhouette with its massively enlarged upper fuselage. Fuselage is glossy white; "AIRBUS BELUGA" text in sky blue is visible on the forward fuselage. Abstract light-grey Airbus branding graphics extend across the upper body. The vertical stabilizer is deep navy blue with the stylized Airbus "A" motifs in white and lighter blue. Sharklet-style wingtips with dark blue tips. Both engine nacelles are white with silver fan inlet rings. Fleet number "X4" is visible on the nose in blue, replicated on the outer horizontal stabilizer. Landing gear fully deployed with multi-wheel main bogies.

Model Craft & Collectibility

NG Models' A330-743L tooling is purpose-built for the Beluga XL and is unrelated to any standard A330 die-cast mould—the fuselage cross-section geometry is fundamentally different. At 15.78 cm × 15.08 cm, the model's proportions are consistent with the real aircraft. NG60014 is the fourth-fleet Beluga XL release, the companion piece to NG60015 (F-GXLN, #5).
