HS-TAY is MSN 786, an Airbus A300B4-622R delivered to Thai Airways International on December 15, 1998. The airframe carried the Thai Airways individual name "Arayna"—a traditional Thai royal name—on its nose throughout its service life. It flew in Thai Airways' classic livery for nearly 17 years before being withdrawn from service and scrapped in January 2016.

Livery & Visual Details

The upper fuselage is white. A multi-color horizontal stripe runs below the cabin windows from the wing area toward the tail, transitioning through magenta, gold-yellow, and turquoise-blue before blending into the deep royal-blue lower aft fuselage and vertical stabilizer. The "THAI" wordmark appears in purple on the forward fuselage, accompanied by the gold Chada logo—a stylized traditional Thai dancer's headdress. Below the cockpit windows, "Arayna" is scripted in small elegant lettering. The registration "HS-TAY" is printed in black mid-fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is deep royal blue with the gold Chada emblem centered on it; the Thai national flag sits at the top leading edge of the fin. The engine nacelles carry the "THAI" name and Chada logo on their outer faces. Wingtips are conventional flat-cut, true to the A300-600 platform. The model is displayed with rolling gear extended, including nose gear and main gear.
