1:400 Diecast: LOT Polish Airlines Boeing 787-9 SP-LSC "Proud of Poland's Independence" (JC Wings XX4062)

Registration SP-LSC is a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, MSN 39293 (Line Number 710), delivered to LOT Polish Airlines on 27 June 2018 from Paine Field, Everett. The aircraft was ferried directly in the "100 Years – Proud of Poland's Independence" special livery, painted to commemorate the centenary of Polish independence in 2018. SP-LSC entered service the following day and has since operated transatlantic routes including Warsaw to New York JFK, Toronto, and Chicago, where the livery has been documented by spotters at all three airports. The aircraft remains active in this livery as of recent flight tracking data.

Livery & Visual Details

The fuselage is predominantly white. A prominent wavy red band runs along the lower fuselage, widening towards the nose where it forms a stylized red outline of the map of Poland. "LOT" titles appear in dark blue on the upper forward fuselage, with "POLISH AIRLINES" in smaller text below. "DUMNI Z NIEPODLEGŁOŚCI" (Proud of Independence) is printed in bold red lettering below the window line on the lower forward fuselage. The vertical stabilizer is dark blue with LOT's white stylized crane logo. The forward section also features the Polish map outline as nose art integrated into the red livery band. Registration SP-LSC is printed on the lower rear fuselage above the red band, with "BOEING 787-8" [sic, see note] in small text above it. The 787-9's Boeing raked wingtips are swept upward and aft. GEnx engine nacelles show silver-grey fan blades and distinctive chevron (serrated) nozzles at the exhaust. Small dark blue LOT logo on each nacelle. Rolling gear extended with white/silver struts and black tires. Dorsal blade antenna and one smaller ventral antenna visible.
