ET-BAX, MSN 702, test registration F-WZFL, completed its first flight on 19 November 2024 and was delivered to Ethiopian Airlines on 6 December 2024—the second A350-1000 to join the carrier's fleet, following ET-BAW (MSN 691). Ethiopian Airlines is the first airline on the African continent to operate the A350-1000 variant, which is powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines. At 66.8 meters in length, the A350-1041 is the longest member of the Airbus A350 XWB family.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model carries Ethiopian Airlines' standard livery: a white upper fuselage with the "Ethiopian" title and the carrier's Heron-inspired logo mark forward of the wing. The vertical stabilizer displays the airline's green, yellow, and red motif—drawn from the Ethiopian national flag colors. The A350-1000's characteristically large carbon-fiber composite wings and curved wingtip extensions are clearly rendered. Both Trent XWB-97 nacelles carry the distinctive flattened-oval inlet profile unique to this engine series. An antenna is included on this model.
