4X-EKI (MSN 28587, Boeing 737-86N with winglets) began its operational life on 9 February 1999, delivered new to North American Airlines as N802NA. Polaris Leasing transferred the airframe to El Al on 26 March 2002, where it entered service still carrying significant elements of its original North American scheme — creating the transitional hybrid livery this model captures. This mixed-paint configuration made 4X-EKI immediately recognizable among planespotters at Ben Gurion and across European hubs for over two decades before the aircraft received a full repaint into El Al's current house colors in early 2025.

The model renders the hybrid scheme accurately: white upper fuselage, deep navy-blue lower fuselage, and a gold separator stripe running the full fuselage length below the window line.
