Registration B-151 carried MSN 48469 (line number 519), a McDonnell Douglas MD-11 trijet wide-body delivered to China Airlines on November 13, 1992. It operated in China Airlines passenger service before transferring to sister carrier Mandarin Airlines under the same registration on November 14, 1995. The aircraft returned to China Airlines colors as B-18172 on January 7, 2000, then entered storage at Mojave in October 2002. FedEx acquired it in October 2004, converting it to freighter configuration as N577FE; the airframe was retired in April 2014.

Livery & Visual Details

The model replicates China Airlines' classic livery of the early 1990s. The fuselage is white, with a prominent cheatline consisting of a wide royal-blue center band flanked by thinner red stripes above and below, separated by fine white pinstripes.
