1:200 Diecast: Air France Airbus A319-111 F-GRXK (JC Wings XX20602)
F-GRXK is an Airbus A319-111 (MSN 2716) that first flew on 2 March 2006 and entered Air France service shortly after. The A319-111 is powered by CFM56-5B5/3 engines and seats up to 142 passengers in Air France's short-haul configuration. F-GRXK was later transferred to Amelia International, where it continued operations under the French register.
Livery & Visual Details
The model wears Air France's current white-and-blue livery. The fuselage is all-white with "AIRFRANCE" in dark blue on the forward upper fuselage, followed by the stylised red-and-blue diagonal accent stripe. The vertical stabilizer features the signature Air France design: a dark blue sweep covering the leading edge, with two white horizontal lines, and a red curved element on the lower trailing portion. A distinctive feature of this A319: the wingtips are sharklets — dark blue upward-curved extensions — which identify this as a later-delivered or retrofitted example. Engine nacelles are white.
Model Craftsmanship & Collectability
Released by JC Wings in the 1:200 XX series under item number XX20602. The A319 sharklet mould captures the subtle differences from the standard A320 family tip configuration. At 1:200, this model offers detail resolution ideal for display alongside other Air France fleet pieces from the same era.
