B-657T carries MSN 15 in the COMAC C919 production sequence and was delivered to China Eastern Airlines in November 2024. The C919-100STD is China's domestically developed narrow-body mainliner, powered by CFM LEAP-1C engines — the first Chinese-certificated commercial jet in this class to enter scheduled passenger service. China Eastern launched C919 commercial operations in May 2023; MSN 15 represents the programme's early production phase, making it a historically significant airframe in Chinese aviation history.

Livery & Visual Details

White fuselage throughout. The China Eastern swallow logo in red and blue appears on the white vertical stabilizer and in smaller versions on the winglet tips. "CHINA EASTERN" runs in large blue capitals below the window line, followed by the Chinese characters reading "中国东方航空" in blue. A distinctive abstract red graphic pattern covers the lower forward fuselage below the cockpit. Registration "B-657T" is printed in large black characters on the rear fuselage. "COMAC C919" is marked in small black text on the rear fuselage above the registration. Upward-curving winglets. Static tricycle landing gear with nose dual wheels.
