F-WMIL is MSN 59 — the first A350-1000 to fly globally, taking off from Toulouse-Blagnac on 24 November 2016. Retained as Airbus's primary A350-1000 demonstrator platform, this airframe carries the "Airbus Upnext" livery. LH2444A is the flaps-down configuration variant of this release, produced as a paired counterpart to LH2444 (flaps up). Powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-97 engines, F-WMIL represents the definitive high-capacity long-range configuration of the A350 family at a real-world wingspan of 64.75 metres.

Livery & Visual Details

The model displays the same "Airbus Upnext" house livery as LH2444: white fuselage, dark navy sweep on the lower rear fuselage extending to the full vertical stabilizer with a dynamic blue-white wave abstract pattern. "AIRBUS", "A350-1000", and "XWB" on the forward fuselage; large "1000" in dark blue on the rear fuselage. Red mid-fuselage text reads "Demonstrating enhanced operations for return to airport By Airbus Uplift". The distinguishing feature of this variant is the full flap deployment — trailing-edge flaps visibly extended along the wing, simulating a landing approach configuration. Dark blue sharklets at the wingtips. Static landing gear extended.
