CS-TGG, MSN 8160, is a Dornier Do-228-202(K) that operated for Aerocondor, a Portuguese regional carrier. The Do-228 is a twin-turboprop commuter aircraft with a distinctive square cross-section fuselage — a product of Dornier's T-tail and high-wing design philosophy. Each engine nacelle houses a Garrett TPE331-5-252D turboprop driving a four-blade propeller, a configuration chosen for reliable short-airfield performance. Aerocondor served Portuguese domestic and island routes before ceasing operations; CS-TGG later flew for Aero Vip under the same registration.
