HZ-AI4 carries MSN 37563, delivered to Saudi Arabian Airlines Cargo on 28 June 2013 under the ferry registration N958BA before receiving its Saudi marks. It was one of only two Boeing 747-8F freighters Saudia Cargo ever operated, alongside HZ-AI3 (MSN 37562). Both were delivered in the first half of 2013; by early 2020, HZ-AI4 had accumulated 12,731 flight hours and 2,071 cycles before Saudia disposed of the pair. The 747-8F is the freighter variant of the 747-8 programme, featuring raked wingtips instead of the winglets of the -400F series and powered by four GEnx-2B67 engines.

The model presents the Saudia Cargo livery: a light tan-gold upper fuselage over a white lower section, with a deep dark-blue vertical stabilizer.
