1:400 Diecast: China Southern Airlines Airbus A380-841 B-6140 (HX Models A581505)

B-6140 carries MSN 120, delivered to China Southern Airlines on 1 March 2013 — six months after its fleet-mate B-6139 (MSN 88). Together they formed the core of China Southern's double-digit A380 fleet on long-haul trunk routes out of Guangzhou Baiyun. B-6140 remained with the airline until early 2024, when it was transferred to HiFly Malta as 9H-GLOBL — one of the few China Southern A380s to find a second operator rather than storage at Mojave. The aircraft is powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 970 engines, identical to the rest of China Southern's A380 fleet.

Livery & Visual Details

White fuselage with dark-blue nose cone. A dual-tone blue horizontal stripe — dark above, lighter below — separates the white upper fuselage from the blue belly. The sky-blue vertical stabilizer carries the red Kapok flower. Chinese characters "中国南方航空" and "CHINA SOUTHERN" in black on the upper forward fuselage. Registration "B-6140" and "AIRBUS A380-800" marked aft. A380 wingtip fences are white. The model depicts the standard China Southern A380 "Kapok" livery unchanged from delivery. Rolling gear deployed.
