1:400 Diecast: China Southern Airlines Airbus A380-841 B-6137 (HX Models A581502)

B-6137 was the second Airbus A380 delivered to China Southern Airlines. Carrying MSN 036, it was handed over on 17 December 2011. China Southern operated a total of five A380-841s powered by Rolls-Royce Trent 970 engines, deploying them on Beijing–Los Angeles, Guangzhou–Sydney, and Guangzhou–Amsterdam routes. By early 2023, B-6137 along with the remaining A380 fleet was retired and ferried to storage at Mojave, California — ending China Southern's superjumbo chapter.

Livery & Visual Details

The model reproduces China Southern's standard livery accurately: white upper fuselage, with a wide dark navy cheatline sweeping from the nose cone along the main-deck window level, flanked by a thinner sky-blue stripe below. Chinese characters "中国南方航空" and "CHINA SOUTHERN" are printed in black on the forward fuselage. Registration "B-6137" appears in black near the rear, and small text "AIRBUS A380-800" is present below the window line at the forward wing root. The vertical stabilizer is solid sky blue, bearing the red Kapok (five-petal cotton-rose) flower logo in white relief. All four Trent 970 nacelles are white/light grey with sky-blue pylon accents. The A380's characteristic upswept wing-fence wingtip devices are correctly modelled in white.
