VH-EBU is a Boeing 747-338 (747-300 series), MSN 23223, the 26th Boeing 747 delivered new to Qantas, entering service in February 1985. In November 1995, the airframe was rolled out at Sydney wearing "Nalanji Dreaming" — the second Qantas Flying Art Series livery, a sky-blue all-over scheme with Aboriginal artwork depicting marine life, concentric circles, and dotted patterns in yellow, orange, red, and green. The name translates to "Our Place." VH-EBU wore this scheme until its retirement and is the only Boeing 747-300 to have carried this livery.

Livery & Visual Details

The model presents the full "Nalanji Dreaming" scheme: a vibrant sky-blue / teal base covering the entire fuselage, with the Aboriginal art pattern applied across the forward fuselage, wings, and tail area. Marine animals — fish, sea turtles, and ray-like forms — are visible within the design in yellow, orange, red, and black. The red Qantas flying-kangaroo tail fin stands out strongly against the blue fuselage. "QANTAS" is in white on the forward fuselage. Registration VH-EBU is visible in white on the aft fuselage. Classic raked wingtips (no winglets), consistent with the 747-300 series. Four engines, metallic silver nacelles. Flaps are depicted in the deployed (down) position.

HX Models B606501F is diecast metal at 1:400 with flaps-down configuration — a technically detailed landing/departure pose. The "Nalanji Dreaming" 747-300 is one of five Qantas Flying Art Series aircraft and the only 747-300 in the series, making it uniquely narrow in production scope. VH-EBU is the sole airframe that wore this scheme.
