1:400 Diecast: Boeing 747-8F House Colors N747EX "Experimental" (HX Models B631004)
N747EX, MSN 35808, is the Boeing 747-8F prototype. It lifted off from Paine Field, Everett, at 12:39 PST on 8 February 2010 — the type's first flight. The aircraft carried Boeing's standard house colours throughout the flight-test programme before being converted for delivery to launch customers. N747EX represents the most significant early variant of the 747-8 programme and is a benchmark reference aircraft for the type's development.
Livery & Visual Details
Boeing House Colors: white upper fuselage, a single wide blue cheatline running from nose to tail, "BOEING" title in black on the lower forward fuselage. The vertical stabiliser is painted in dark blue with the Boeing logo and large "747" in white. Four General Electric GEnx-2B67 engines with chevron nozzles are visible. Landing gear deployed (rolling gear). Wings show the characteristic 747-8 raked wingtips.
