A6-EXA holds MSN 684 and entered Emirates service on 25 November 2024 — the carrier's first-ever Airbus A350-900, after decades of operating exclusively Boeing widebodies on long-haul routes. A6-EXA was ferried from Toulouse Blagnac to Dubai on the delivery date itself, and launched the type into Emirates scheduled service to Edinburgh and Ahmedabad in early 2025. The aircraft is an A350-941 variant powered by two Rolls-Royce Trent XWB-84 engines.

Livery & Visual Details

Emirates standard livery: white fuselage with "Emirates" in gold italic script on the forward fuselage, with the Arabic equivalent "الإمارات" directly below in matching gold. The vertical tail displays the UAE national colours — red, black and green wave bands on white — carried also on the Sharklet wingtip devices. Engine nacelles are white; "Emirates" branding in gold appears on the nacelle sides as well. The registration A6-EXA is printed in black on the rear fuselage. No chevron nozzles — Trent XWB has smooth exhaust rings.
