1:200 Diecast: Mexicana Embraer ERJ-145EP XA-MBR (GeminiJets G2MXA1305)

Embraer ERJ-145EP registered XA-MBR carries MSN 187. The airframe first flew with Trans States Airlines as N809HK, delivered 28 October 1999. It later wore Korean registration HL8094 before transferring to Mexicana de Aviación as XA-MBR. Mexicana suspended operations in August 2010; XA-MBR subsequently passed to TAR Aerolíneas, where it remains in service. GeminiJets released this 1:200 model under item G2MXA1305 capturing the aircraft in full Mexicana livery.

Livery & Visual Detail

White fuselage with a dark green cheatline running along the lower side below the window line, extending to the nose cone. Engine nacelles are bright red. Vertical stabilizer is dark green, bearing the stylized white "M" and "mexicana" wordmark in white. Registration "XA-MBR" is visible on the rear fuselage below the windows and on the vertical stabilizer. A small Mexican flag appears near the forward fuselage. Engines are rear-mounted on pylons flanking the tail — correct for ERJ-145 configuration. Conventional straight wingtips without winglets. Rolling gear extended.

Model Craft & Collectability

GeminiJets produced this model in all-metal diecast construction at 1:200 scale, with tampo-printed livery detail. Mexicana de Aviación ceased flying in 2010, making any Mexicana-liveried model a document of an extinct operator. The ERJ-145EP mold captures the rear-engine twin-jet configuration of this regional workhorse.
