1:200 Diecast: El Al Boeing 777-200ER 4X-ECB Flaps Down (Geminijets G2ELY1361F)
4X-ECB carries MSN 30832 (LN 325) and is typed as a 777-258ER — the customer-specific variant El Al ordered for its Tel Aviv hub. First flight was February 9, 2001; delivery to El Al followed on February 21, 2001, making it the airline's first Boeing 777. The aircraft was stored from February 2020 through September 2022 during the pandemic, then returned to service. El Al named 4X-ECB "Netanya." The 777-258ER is powered by two GE90-94B engines and operates Israel's long-haul routes including Ben Gurion–New York and Ben Gurion–London.
Livery & Visual Detail
The model shows El Al's current livery: bright white fuselage with a prominent metallic-blue horizontal stripe that widens through the mid-fuselage and tapers toward the tail. "EL AL" in large dark-blue block letters occupies the forward fuselage, followed by a matching Star of David. The white vertical stabilizer carries a large dark-blue Star of David centered on the fin, flanked by two metallic-blue diagonal stripes curving downward from the leading edge. Registration "4X-ECB" is printed below the wing in black, with "BOEING 777-200" in smaller text beneath it. "ECB" appears on the nose gear doors. Standard Boeing 777-200 wingtips — gentle upward curve at the tip, no distinct winglets or sharklets. Engine nacelles are white with smooth circular exhaust nozzles; no chevrons. Fan blades appear dark metallic. Flaps are fully retracted on this flaps-down variant — the "flaps down" designation refers to the landing-configuration undercarriage pose. All landing gear deployed; main bogies show eight-wheel configuration.
Model Craft & Collector Value
Geminijets G2ELY1361F reproduces the 777-200ER at 1:200 scale in diecast metal with an extended-gear stance. As El Al's first 777 frame, 4X-ECB represents the airline's entry into widebody twin-engine operations on Transatlantic routes. The Flaps Down variant of the G2ELY1361 release captures a different display pose from the standard clean-wing edition.
