1:400 Diecast: TUI Airways Boeing 737-800 D-ATUD "HaribAIR Goldbären" (AeroPolaris HA7380021)

D-ATUD, MSN 34685, was delivered on 30 March 2006 to Hapagfly — TUI fly Germany's predecessor — and transferred into the TUI fly fleet when the brand consolidated in 2007. The aircraft is a 737-800 powered by two CFM56-7B26 engines. In January 2010 the airframe was painted as "HaribAIR," TUI fly's second Haribo-branded promotional jet, built on a commercial partnership first established in 2008. D-ATUD carried this livery until early 2016, when it was repainted into the TUI Blue scheme; the aircraft later underwent Boeing Converted Freighter modification and entered service with WestJet Cargo as C-GWJE in 2022.

Livery & Visual Detail

The fuselage is finished in metallic gold — an unusually bold base colour absent from any standard airline livery. "HARIBO GOLDBÄREN" runs along the mid-fuselage in large red-and-black lettering with white outlines, surrounded by scattered multi-coloured Goldbear candy figures in red, green, orange, and yellow. The aft fuselage and tail root feature an oversized smiling Goldbear mascot in gold-yellow with red cheeks. Engine nacelles are bright yellow with "TUIfly.com" in white. The cockpit area carries "HaribAIR" in white. TUI's logo appears on the vertical stabiliser tip and on both wingtip winglets. Registration D-ATUD is visible on the upper fuselage. Winglets confirmed; front landing gear extended.

Model Craft & Collector Value

AeroPolaris released HA7380021 in late 2025. The TUI/Haribo co-branding on D-ATUD represents a type of airline–food-brand promotional livery that was common in European leisure aviation during the 2010s but is rarely reproduced in diecast. The metallic gold base and the full-body candy-character artwork make this edition visually distinct from any standard 737-800 variant in a typical collection.
