1:400 Diecast: TransBrasil Boeing 767-200 PT-TAC (AeroClassics AC411376)

PT-TAC carries MSN 22923 (Line Number 59), first flown on 7 June 1983 and delivered to TransBrasil on 11 July 1983 — one of the carrier's earliest wide-body aircraft and among the first Boeing 767-200s in South America. The aircraft served TransBrasil throughout its entire operating life, never leased to another operator. When the airline suspended all flights on 3 December 2001 due to fuel debt, PT-TAC was grounded at Brasília. In 2014 it was moved to Taguatinga in a proposed restaurant conversion that never materialized; the airframe remains derelict there.

Livery & Visual Detail

The model displays TransBrasil's iconic rainbow-tail scheme: white upper fuselage with dark-green wing surfaces, and a multicolored vertical stabilizer running from red at the leading edge through orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple toward the trailing edge. "TRANSBRASIL" appears in stylized green lettering on the forward fuselage with a green-and-yellow star motif. Registration PT-TAC is visible on the rear fuselage and on the upper wing surfaces. Twin engines under-wing, white nacelles. No winglets — straight-cut tips consistent with the original 767-200 configuration.

TransBrasil's rainbow livery has no equivalent in aviation history; PT-TAC is the only AeroClassics release capturing this exact fuselage.
