J2-KCN is a Boeing 767-233, MSN 22526, line number 92 — one of the earliest-production 767-200 airframes. It was originally delivered to Air Canada as C-GAVA on 13 June 1984. After two decades of Canadian service and an intermediate period in storage, the aircraft was re-registered under a Djibouti identifier and operated by Iraqi Airways from November 2006, serving the carrier's post-sanctions rebuilding effort as one of the widebody types leased to restore international capacity.

Livery & Visual Details

The model carries the Iraqi Airways classic two-tone scheme: white upper fuselage and a bold dark green stripe running from the nose cone along the full length of the lower fuselage into the all-green vertical stabilizer. "Iraqi Airways" appears in dark green on the mid-fuselage; the Arabic text "العراقية" (Al-Iraqiya) is reproduced on the tail. The iconic white stylised swallow logo is centred on the green fin; an Iraqi national flag decal is visible on the upper leading edge of the stabilizer.
