Registered N745EV, this Boeing 727-46 carries manufacturer serial number 19283, line number 502. Originally delivered to Japan Airlines as JA8326 on 11 December 1967, the airframe was converted to freighter configuration (designated 727-46F) and transferred to Evergreen International Airlines on 12 February 1988, where it served through the early 1990s before storage at Marana, Arizona. AeroClassics captures the aircraft in its 1980s Evergreen colour scheme.
Livery & Visual Details
The fuselage is white. "EVERGREEN INTERNATIONAL" is lettered in dark green capitals along the upper fuselage. A bold dark green horizontal stripe runs the length of the lower fuselage from nose to tail. On the vertical stabilizer, the word "EVERGREEN" is displayed in white within a stylised dark green oval logo. The registration N745EV appears in black on the lower aft fuselage above the stripe. A small Republic of China (Taiwan) flag is visible below the cockpit windows. Cargo door outlines are present on the fuselage. The 727's three rear-mounted engines are silver; no winglets on the straight classic wingtips.
